Mindy Padron
Office Manager
Mindy was born, raised in the beautiful state of Texas. She has worked in the dental field for 16 years. When she is not leading by example to our Sandalwood team, she enjoys spending her time building businesses that will have a direct positive impact in the communities where most needed. Along with building her business, she enjoys reading, spending time with her family, 1 granddaughter,13 hens,2 roosters, and 2 dogs. She is resilient in reaching her goals of providing the best environment for our team, our awesome patients. She has been serving the Sandalwood family for 11 years and counting. She is grateful for the opportunity she has earned to educate, support, and provide solutions to everyone who crosses her path. Her latest interest is networking with our patients, other small business owners to invest in one another’s successes.
Emily Santiago
Patient Care Coordinator, Treatment Coordinator, RDA
Emily is a born and raised Houstonian who joined the Sandalwood team in 2020 as our treatment coordinator. She is also, a registered dental assistant, and has been in the dental field for over 10 years. Her main goal is to provide top notch customer service while establishing genuine connections with each of her patients. She loves spending time with her family, traveling, and trying new restaurants.
Yuri
Billing Specialist
Yuri was born and raised in Houston, Texas. She has been in the dental field for over 4 years and counting. She has been part of our Sandalwood family for 7+ years. In her spare time she enjoys running with her pitbull named Rocky. Yuri enjoys spending time with her loving husband and two beautiful daughters, Mariah and Valerie.
We are thankful to have Yuri as our insurance and billing Guru.
Amit Singh
Business Administrator
Amit was born in New Delhi, India. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Math from The University of Delhi. Amit has been a Registered Dental Assistant for several years now and on the side she enjoys spending time with her children. Amit is happy to be a part of the Sandalwood Team and living in Cypress!
Jennifer Jones
Hygienist
Jennifer was born and raised in Cypress, TX. She received her bachelor of science from Texas A&M University and graduated from the University of Texas Dental Branch at Houston. She still considers herself an Aggie!! She has been a part of the dental field for 10+ years and has a heart for working with children and making their experience fun and enjoyable!
Jaime Lyn
Hygienist
Jaime was born in Michigan where she obtained her registered dental hygiene degree. She worked as a dental assistant prior to her education in hygiene and has been a part of the dental field for 11 years. She is certified in local anesthesia and nitrous oxide administration. She enjoys the beach, boating, cooking, movies and spending time with family and friends. Jaime is happy to be a part of the Sandalwood team and living in Houston!
Vanessa Goss
Lead Assistant
Vanessa was born in Houston, Texas and graduated from Elsik High School before attending Texas School of Business for dental assistants. She is certified in radiology and coronal polishing. In her free time she enjoys swimming and going to the beach any chance she gets. She also loves spending time with her family and friends but most importantly helping others in her community and those she meets at Sandalwood. She has been in the dental field for over 14 years. Fun fact: Vanessa has been assisting Dr. Strepka for 15 years!
Ivette Guzman
RDA
Ivette was born in Mexico City and was raised in California before moving to Texas 3 years ago. Ivette is being a Registered Dental Assistant with more than 17 years of experience. Ivette likes long walks in nature, reading, documentaries, travel, dancing and spending time with her family and her two dogs. She loves to help the community and working at Sandalwood Dental.
Lindsey Ernest
Hygienist
Lindsey entered the field of dentistry more than 30 years ago as an assistant and she later earned her license as a registered Dental Hygenist in 2000. She treats every patient with a gentle approach, compassion, and a high level of skill. She works to create a welcoming environment and believes in building strong relationships with her dentists, her co-workers, and with every client. Lindsey joined Sandalwood in 2021 not long after moving to the great State of Texas from Oklahoma. Outside of dental hygiene, Lindsey is passionate about health and wellness. She enjoys teaching Group Fitness classes at a nearby health club. She loves spending time with her three children and her friends. When her otherwise busy schedule allows, you can also find her soaking up good old Texas sunshine.
Valerie Olguin
RDA
Valerie was born and raised in Texas. She has been a dental assistant for 13 years and has been a part of the Sandalwood family since 2022. She loves working with children making it a fun and enjoyable experience. On her free time she enjoys going to the movies, traveling and spending time with her husband and dog Luca.
